– Manual testing of websites and web applications
– Verifying the correct logic and functionality of UI elements (buttons, forms, transitions)
– Testing the interaction between front-end and back-end: monitoring and validating network requests
– Testing REST API: sending and verifying API requests and responses (using tools like Postman, browser DevTools, etc.)
– Validating data and business logic on the database side (MySQL)
– Reporting bugs, documenting issues, and suggesting improvements
– Collaborating with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and verify fixes
Requirements:
– Experience in manual testing of web applications
– Solid knowledge of browser DevTools (Chrome/Firefox) for analyzing network traffic
– Experience working with REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, curl, etc.)
– Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP protocol
– Ability to work with databases (MySQL): writing basic SQL queries to verify and retrieve data
– Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
– Clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
– Experience with task tracking systems (Jira, YouTrack, Trello, etc.)
– Basic knowledge of automated testing
